CHRISTIAN HICKS

VP Strategy & Operations, Maven Clinic

Chris Hicks is Vice President of Strategy & Operations for Maven Clinic, a virtual family benefits platform with a mission to change the health of the world - one family, one woman at a time. In his role at Maven he leads strategic planning, go-to-market strategy, and Sales Operations. Prior to his current role at Maven Clinic, Chris spent a decade in management consulting (most recently with BCG) and led various Strategy & Operations teams at WeWork for several years.

He has an MS and MBA from the University of Michigan and a BA from Middlebury College. He is currently quarantined in New Jersey with three kids under the age of 6 and relies on Maven's Parenting tips to keep his sanity in these crazy times.

 

ANMOL MADAN

Chief Data Scientist, Teladoc Health

Anmol Madan is responsible for machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI) and data science initiatives across Teladoc Health’s products and services, including Livongo products related to chronic conditions. He leads AI investments that drive personalization, growth, operational scaling, insights and analytics for our members, providers and clients.

Dr. Madan was chief data scientist at Livongo Health until the company merged with Teladoc Health. He previously co-founded Ginger.io, where he served as its chief executive officer for over seven years. Under his leadership, Ginger.io built an AI-driven on-demand behavioral health service and raised $35 million in venture funding.

He received a Ph.D. in machine learning applied to human behavior from the MIT Media Lab, has authored more than 20 scientific publications, and has over a dozen patents related to machine learning in healthcare. Dr. Madan was recognized by Fast Company as one of the 100 Most Creative People in Business, and as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer

JONATHAN TEICH

Chief Medical Information Officer, Intersystems

Dr. Jonathan Teich is Chief Medical Information Officer and director of product management at InterSystems. His responsibilities include leading vision and design for information solutions to high-priority clinical and operational needs of providers, payers, and governments, based on InterSystems’ industry-leading HealthShare large scale health integration platform.  He is a practicing emergency physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and assistant professor at Harvard.  He designed many of BWH’s award-winning electronic health record, computerized provider order entry, knowledge retrieval, workflow and clinical decision support (CDS) applications, and has authored over 100 publications in the field.  At InterSystems, he combines these passions to work on advances in the use of big data for real-time clinical decision making.

Dr. Teich serves on numerous government and industry panels concerned with CDS, healthcare quality, and workflow design.  He also serves as clinical architect and designer with OpenMRS, an open-source electronic health information system serving over fifty low- and middle-income countries worldwide. Dr. Teich graduated from Caltech, Harvard Medical School, and MIT, where his PhD work focused on optical instrumentation and computer image processing for early diagnosis of diabetic blindness

JONATHAN RHODES

Senior Director of Strategy, Innovation, and New Ventures, Optum

Jonathan currently leads the external partnership strategy for Optum Population Health Solution. He has a passion for modernizing healthcare and has led digital transformation at some of the world’s largest healthcare companies from Cerner to the Cleveland Clinic to United Health Group.

His team is responsible for leading the due diligence & development process for partnerships ranging from vendor-client relationship to mergers & acquisitions. Prior to his time at Optum, he led the Plug & Play accelerator at #2 ranked hospital in the world, Cleveland Clinic.

Jonathan holds a bachelor’s degree from Dallas Baptist University and a Masters in Healthcare Management from Yale University. He currently resides in Boston, MA with his wife and son.
